Fatherhood Matters and Motherhood Matters Parenting Classes held at the Franklin County Regional Jail.

• Education for improved parenting and life skills
• Counseling and referral services to break the cycle of abuse
• Supervised visitation between children and their non-custodial family members
• Charitable interventions to support families in crisis
• Strengthening public awareness and understanding of the impact abuse has on families and children

The Sunshine Center is a private, not for profit agency, recognized by the I.R.S. as a 501-(C)(3).

Currently, our services are funded through the City of Frankfort, Franklin County Fiscal Court, The United Way of Franklin County, Prevent Child Abuse Kentucky, The Victims of Crimes Act funds, the Franklin County Regional Jail, personal donations, and annual fundraising.
